Saturday we had some families out at Weber’s with lots of kids. They mostly looked to be barbecuing. But they did set out some poles with the older children. Not sure if they caught anything but a few perch. The amount of people and the vibe was like a family birthday party or something like that.

Sunday (last) night we had three trucks park down by the water and do some night fishing off the shore. They fished for a few hours. It was pretty late once they packed up to leave. I’ll go check around to see the signs of what they caught. People are so respectful these days. Everyone is picking up their trash and leaving the area clean and tidy. Like most fishermen are doing, this group brought in their own trash bags and they hauled anything left over up to the dumpster to toss it on their way out. I call that good sportsmanship. Leaving the area presentable for the next fisherman.

Water temperature is 86° and h the outside air temperature is 84° right now. Low to no wind currently. Smooth lake conditions. Winds expected to rise slightly as the afternoon temperatures build. We might (might) get a little afternoon rain shower even. But like our joke is about rain: when they say it’s going to rain today, they don’t mean us. 🤔
